You know the feeling all to well. You start your day and you are feeling fantastic! You go through your daily routine fishing in that proverbial pond (the internet) with your bait on the end of your line and then it happens…

You get a couple of bites that are really excited about what you are offering. They say they are ready to get started and will pay as soon as you get done with them on the phone. Naturally, you get excited! You tell the spouse you’re going to dinner to celebrate two large sales coming your way.

For the rest of the day you are on cloud nine happily working until you receive an email saying, “I can’t start today; it’s not the right time”.

Sound familiar?

When is the last time you gave a compliment? When is the last time you receive one? Do you remember how that felt? Do you remember the satisfaction that came over you when you received or gave a great compliment?

I ask you these simple questions because many people under estimate the power of a compliment. Not only does it give the recipient a spark of energy but you as well.

So take the time to give a little compliment. I guarantee you will brighten somebody’s day and just maybe inspire them to do the same. :)

There is no doubt that targeting your prospects is pertinent to your business building. The question is what does it really mean to target your prospects?

Targeting is important because it gives you a clear direction for your marketing. It helps you and your prospect focus on the goals that are striving to be accomplished. See targeting is a critical step that is often overlooked by online marketers. A lot of times you get so engulfed with the excitement of building your business that you forget the fundamentals that are needed to be successful. I mean think about it…if Michael Jordan had stopped using and practicing his fundamentals he wouldn’t be considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time. You are no different. You are just like Michael Jordan. You must practice and build on your fundamentals in order to create a strong foundation for your business.

You may not realize this but targeting your prospects could mean the difference between success and failure. See when your prospect targeting is effective you create curiousit and interest but if it is inefficient you will get people who could care less about what you are offering. It’s a New Year and everyone is setting their goals and resolutions. They are trying to lose weight, get out of debt, start their own business, and the list goes on. But none of this can happen without visualization and harnessing the power of Success Thinking.

Now if you don’t know what success thinking is then let me explain. Success Thinking is creating positive, forward-looking, optimistic pictures in your own mind and in the minds of others.

When you are a success thinker it resonates in everything that you do from your words, to your body language, to your actions. Success thinkers understand that words are the raw materials of thought and those words are projected into pictures of sorts in your mind. That is why it is important to practice using big positive words to describe how you feel, to describe other people, and to encourage others. Those pictures determine how you and others react to situations. Conversation is the catalyst of your business because it is where you begin your relationships with future team members and business partners. But in order to have successful outcome to every conversation you must ask yourself a few questions first…

~ What is your purpose for the conversation?

You want to determine what you want to accomplish within the conversation. What is your ideal outcome? Also, be sure to enter the conversation with a supportive purpose.

~ Are you making assumptions about the prospects intentions?

In the network marketing industry you may encounter people that seem like they are going to take action but don’t and people who seem laid back but are your best producers. It is hard to read a lot of people so it is best not to make any assumptions on what people will do.

~ What is your attitude towards the conversation influencing your perception of it?

I woke ups this morning at 4 am with the hopes of getting some (if not all) of my Christmas shopping done. While I was shopping I realized how I had really transformed my life by opting to follow my heart, overcome my fears, and challenging the status quo.

Whether you know it or not you can also change the status quo. You can break those barriers of doing “the right thing” that the world has place around you. Unfortunately, many people don’t realize they have this ability. They are so consumed with fear of change and the unknown that they are holding themselves back from pursuing their true dreams, passions, and desires.

Fear and change should not be a reason for not accomplishing your goals. It should be fuel to motivate you and challenge the status quo. It is critical to stay engaged, passionate, and seek power from within in order to reach your full potential. Life is WAY to short! There is not enough time in life to be unhappy and mediocre. That is why pushing through that box is ESSENTIAL to your success.

Success in its broadest meaning is not limited to only monetary and material possessions. It reveals as being plentiful in countless and several forms in life and nature.

The universal spirit of consciousness, craves to continuously manifest and express itself; this power likewise expresses its longing to demonstrate success, which is naturally wanting to develop, to grow and become bigger and stronger.

However, many realize this longing and natural inclination for growth repressed in them, because of negative thinking, unconstructive programming, and not having enough faith in their abilities and themselves.

Every individual has dual natures. One wants the self to move forward while the other feels like pulling back. The one nature that one concentrates and cultivates on determines what one is at the final end, as both natures tries to hold and to be in control.

One’s “will” resolves the issue alone. An individual by one utmost attempt of the “will” can change one’s whole vocation and accomplish miracles. Which is why having an open mind is very significant.

One having a closed mind grasps to a concept without much concern for evidence. They might have even reached at their concept without supporting material evidence.
