Being on the first 3 pages of Google and receiving all of that free traffic comes down to Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Now making sure that your site is SEO is somewhat overwhelming, I know. I used to be in that same place but it doesn’t have to be that way. It is actually very simple but it starts with some very specific principles.
Principle #1 – Time
Time plays a factor because Google and other search engines favor websites that trust. They will look at the time a site was indexed in its search engine, the time the domain was registered, and make the decision on whether or not to trust the site. But there is a way around this that I will share with you later in this article.
Principle # 2 – On Page Optimization
This is the actual content on your page. This can include keywords in our copy, meta tags, titles, alt titles (for pictures), etc. It is basically all the work that is on your page.
Search engines views how your content relates to the content users are searching. So it is very important to have relevant keywords (attached blog link) for your content. Click Here To Read The Full Post...
When creating content it is very important that you attach the right keywords in order to optimize it for the search engines. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) plays a HUGE role in your search engine exposure and you can not get that exposure without the right keywords. The right keywords can be the difference between the first page of Google or the 50th. Which page would you rather be on?
Generating keywords for you content can seem like a daunting task but it actually very simple. It is very important that your keywords are relevant to they content you are trying to get indexed into the search engines. Just putting a lot of keywords on a video or an article will not help you in the search engines. You must target your keywords to the niche you are writing about.
Now that you know how to find keywords, let’s talk about getting to the top of the search engines.
Once you have determined the keyword you want to optimize for, I would choose 5-10 more similar keywords that you want your content to show up for.
If you are part of the internet marketing industry then you have seen many of these ads and people promoting those famous words “As Seen On Oprah”. Unfortunately, they were not authorized to do so.
The claims started when Oprah and Dr. Oz ‘mentioned’ it on her show. That started the beginning of claims of endorsements by the talk show queen.
Oprah and Dr. Oz are reportedly suing 30 companies. According to the lawsuit: “These defendants are willfully capitalizing on plaintiffs’ valuable reputation and intellectual property rights to lure consumers into ordering their infringing products on the false premise that they have been tested or recommended by Ms. Winfrey and/or Dr. Oz when they have not.”
