Is Your Business A Reflection Of You?

Monday, October 5th, 2009
free newsletter and training . Thanks for visiting!

So…is it?

I know it can be difficult and sometimes overwhelming when you take on the challenge of having a home base business. There is so much to learn, so much to do that you seem to lose yourself and what you stand for in the process.

Well maybe not lose yourself but you are so busy trying to follow someone’s lead that you forget to put your stamp on it.

I have to say, I fell victim to this myself. I was so worried about succeeding and making sure that I did things that my mentor said that I forgot to put my on personalized stamp on it. In other words, my business wasn’t reflecting me, Tasha Palmer. If you wondering who it was reflecting…well I am not sure of that either.

But here is my point…don’t get caught up in “what is right”. You have to be yourself and stay true to yourself throughout this process.

You will here people say that you have to dress professional, talk professional, be professional…Well whatever happened to a little fun and excitement.

Don’t blend in with everyone else…shake things up a little bit. Be different and have fun doing it.

Crack the Search Engine Code For Being On Page 1 in Google

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009

Being on the first 3 pages of Google and receiving all of that free traffic comes down to Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Now making sure that your site is SEO is somewhat overwhelming, I know. I used to be in that same place but it doesn’t have to be that way. It is actually very simple but it starts with some very specific principles.
First page of Google

Principle #1 – Time

Time plays a factor because Google and other search engines favor websites that trust. They will look at the time a site was indexed in its search engine, the time the domain was registered, and make the decision on whether or not to trust the site. But there is a way around this that I will share with you later in this article.

Principle # 2 – On Page Optimization

This is the actual content on your page. This can include keywords in our copy, meta tags, titles, alt titles (for pictures), etc. It is basically all the work that is on your page.

Search engines views how your content relates to the content users are searching. So it is very important to have relevant keywords (attached blog link) for your content.

Oprah, Dr. Oz Sue Acai Berry Marketers

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

I know I have posted in a couple of weeks but I figured I would start back with this…

Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Oz

Oprah, Dr. Oz Sues Over Acai Berry Claims.

If you are part of the internet marketing industry then you have seen many of these ads and people promoting those famous words “As Seen On Oprah”. Unfortunately, they were not authorized to do so.

The claims started when Oprah and Dr. Oz ‘mentioned’ it on her show. That started the beginning of claims of endorsements by the talk show queen.

Oprah and Dr. Oz are reportedly suing 30 companies. According to the lawsuit: “These defendants are willfully capitalizing on plaintiffs’ valuable reputation and intellectual property rights to lure consumers into ordering their infringing products on the false premise that they have been tested or recommended by Ms. Winfrey and/or Dr. Oz when they have not.”

Why Twitter Auto-Follow Is BAD For Business…

Friday, July 24th, 2009

I have been reading a lot of great articles lately that I feel compelled to share with you. It is all about education and increasing your knowledge base. That is probably the single most important thing that you can do in network marketing. Without it you will become so transparent you will be like dust in the midst of wind.

Anyway…

Over the last few days I have been really thinking about how I can be more effective using twitter. I understand the idea that surrounds it in making you more of an authority figure. At the same time, I didn’t really know how to go about creating a following of the magnitude you see around the internet. You know the videos, articles, etc that show you how you can get thousands of followers.

Now I would love to have thousand of followers on twitter but would it really be the most effective for my marketing. Ignoring my intuition I set an auto follower to follow people surrounding a certain niche or keywords. I was increasing my followers but I was following people I did NOT want to follow.

Sponsoring Made Easy

magnetic sponsoring

Sponsoring is the one thing that network marketers strive for when building their business. I mean let’s face it, if you can not sponsor anyone than you have no cashflow and without cashflow there is no business.

The good thing is that sponsoring and recruiting new prospects doesn’t have to be hard. There is no longer a need to strike up a conversation and try to present an opportunity out of thin air. There is no need to buy leads or cold call people. There is not even a need for you to have sponsoring parties in your house. What will you really accomplish by doing that except having a smaller wallet? Those techniques are just not effective anymore and (more than anything) they lack leverage. You can’t expect to build a healthy thriving business by spending more and more money without anything in return.

So how do you sponsor people with ease?

Well my friend, that starts with ATTRACTION! When prospects are attracted with you they want to work with you. They want to know what you are doing. For example, think about your favorite store. Now think about why you shop there. Is it because of the prices, the value they offer, or the customer service they provide?

How Do I Build My Value For My Network Marketing Business?

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

This is a question a lot of network marketers seem to face when trying to brand them self as a trusted source for valuable information. This, of course, is necessary in order to build a business on the internet. So how do you go about building your value?

Well, building value come from within because it’s just something you know. All of us of have some sort of value to offer from the start because of life experiences. The problem is that a lot of people think that you have to provide some sort of training on traffic, lead generation, etc to give value. That is TOTALLY untrue. There are a multitude of things that you can talk about that has nothing to do with that type of training. Thinks like mindset, personal development, technology, how-to’s, anything that can help people in their overall development as an entrepreneur.

It is also important to understand that you can’t give what you don’t have. In other words, it is very important to continue your education, continue learn new things so that you are able to constantly vibrate the level of awareness and knowledge that you really have. This is probably the single biggest contributor to you being successful or not.

The Dreaded (Out of the Blue) Approach Still Lives

Monday, June 15th, 2009

I was in the store today doing a little grocery shopping when I was approach by a gentleman. He asked me was I from around here…you know trying to make small talk.

In the midst of this, I am wondering why he has decided to interupt me. Because to be honest, I was pretty focused on what I was doing. So anyway, he talks a little longer that proceeds to ask me if I was open to an opportunity.

After talking to him and getting his card of course (because there is a better way), I started thinking about when I first started in MLM and was told to the house parties, approach people, cold calls, you know what I mean. I also remebered how they refered to these techniques as ‘duplicating success’.

Let’s get real…

I can’t begin to tell you about all the NO’s I recieved using this ’so-called’ duplicable system.

This is system is not duplicable by a long shot. Now I’m sure it was at one time (maybe back in the 60’s or 70’s) but today is a new day. No wonder the network marketing industry gets a bad wrap.

Mastering Your Personal Brand

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

When you think of people who have a great personal brand, Oprah Winfrey, Suze Orman, and Dani Johnson might come to mind. See each one of these people have built powerful personal brands that have propelled them to the top of their industries. But what have they done to master their personal brand?

Well like many other successful people, they took the time to connect, communicate, build, and protect their brands. Now there is no magic to this, there are just a few personal branding principals that should be followed to reach great success.

Principal #1 You already have your own personal brand whether you recognize it or not. Your brand is YOU! You are unique in your own way and it is up to you to improve, strengthen, and make changes to it as necessary.

Principal #2 Your personal brand exists in the minds of other people in the way they perceive, think, and feel about you. Think about someone you may have encountered in your life that you perceived as a hateful or negative person because of one interaction that you had or something someone else told you about them. You may not even know this person very well or anything about them but you view them in a negative light. So it is critical to keep in mind that your personal brand is not what you think it is but what others perceive it to be.

Attraction Marketing 101

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

In this video I will speak about how attraction marketing really works and how you can use the power of your own life (my story marketing) to get the most out of it.

(Video Delays towards the end…be patient)

When you are settinf up your page, it is very important that you include videos. It can be videos done by other people that you enjoy and find helpful or videos of you or both. I highly suggest that you include a video from you welcoming people to your site. It makes it more personable. Remember your objective is to build relationships with these people.

You don’t have to contact me about your page but if you would like some feedback feel free to ask.

For guidance, check out my page at www.myspace.com/inspiretobegreat.

Also, adding video is very powerful. By having video as well as print, you will be able to satisfy different people. Some people prefer to read others prefer video, so you want to have both but it is not neccessary.

STOP Promoting Your Business Opportunity

If your marketing consists of primarily promoting your business opportunity, through a replicated business opportunity website you will join the 95% of all home business marketing reps who spend more money on their business than they actually make.

Promoting your business opportunity is the fastest way to go broke!

So Before we get started, Do You Understand the Law of Attraction? Are You Using It in Your Life and Business? Danny will explain it in the video. It is very important to understand this concept before you can truly start attracting people into your business and life.

Law of attraction plays a Huge part in understanding how to attract people to you and how providing value makes you more attractive.

So what it means to add Massive Use Value?

Well, adding value does not have to mean that you are teaching an advanced marketing technique or doing live webinars or anything even close to that.

One of my mentor’s Danny explained it best, he said that Adding Massive Use Value is about finding your passion and having as much fun doing it as you can.
