The Underdogs Prevail 71-61…See How You Can Learn From VCU’s recent triumph.

March Madness is the time of year that I am extremely excited about. I love college sports…particularly basketball and football. However, during this time of year it is all about basketball. And I must say, the excitement is even greater because I know on any day any team can win no matter what their background.

Now you may not know anything about college basketball or sports, for that matter, but there is something extraordinary about watching a team like VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) advance to the Final 4 (one of the last four teams left in tournament).

No one thought that they would succeed. They even had to play an additional game just to get in the tournament. Why? Because the committee didn’t believe VCU was good enough to select them out right. Instead they gave them a chance to earn there way in the tournament. VCU is now two games away from winning the championship. I woke ups this morning at 4 am with the hopes of getting some (if not all) of my Christmas shopping done. While I was shopping I realized how I had really transformed my life by opting to follow my heart, overcome my fears, and challenging the status quo.

Whether you know it or not you can also change the status quo. You can break those barriers of doing “the right thing” that the world has place around you. Relinquish Your Self Doubt and Lack of Confidence

Self doubt and lack of confidence is one of the biggest problems besetting people today.

With today’s economy, more and more people are becoming afraid of life because of a deep insecurity and lack of trust within themself. They are not trusting in their own abilities to succeed or create opportunities. What the don’t realize is that self doubt is hindering them from reaching their full potential.

When you are going through difficult situations your problems tend suck up alot of your energy while leaving you overwhelmed and discouraged.

But ATTITUDE is everything!

Your attitude towards something is way more important than the facts. See no matter how difficult that facts are it is not as important as your attitude towards it. In other words, your attitude determines whether or not you overcome or are defeated.
