There is no doubt that targeting your prospects is pertinent to your business building. The question is what does it really mean to target your prospects?

Targeting is important because it gives you a clear direction for your marketing. It helps you and your prospect focus on the goals that are striving to be accomplished. See targeting is a critical step that is often overlooked by online marketers. A lot of times you get so engulfed with the excitement of building your business that you forget the fundamentals that are needed to be successful. I mean think about it…if Michael Jordan had stopped using and practicing his fundamentals he wouldn’t be considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time. You are no different. You are just like Michael Jordan. You must practice and build on your fundamentals in order to create a strong foundation for your business.

You may not realize this but targeting your prospects could mean the difference between success and failure. See when your prospect targeting is effective you create curiousit and interest but if it is inefficient you will get people who could care less about what you are offering. It’s like trying to feed a fish a snack cake…they just don’t want it. So in order to get exactly what the prospect wants and needs you must follow a few steps.
